Bài báo khoa học: DISTRIBUTION OF ANOECTOCHILUS ROXBURGHII (WALL.) LINDL IN BACH MA NATIONAL PARK OF CENTRAL VIETNAM

Anoectochilus roxburghii is an endangered medicinal plant with high economic value in Vietnam, but its population is decreasing due to overexploitation and unfavourable conditions. The base line distribution survey of A. roxburghii in Bach Ma National Park (BMNP) was carried out for the first time in this study. Survey lines were established through interviews to develop field surveys and collect ecological characteristics.

Bài báo khoa học: Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi increase aleurone layer zinc concentration but reduce overall zinc bioavailability in rice grain

Rice is a critical crop for the delivery of calories and essential micronutrients to the human diet. Biofortification of rice with zinc (Zn) and iron (Fe) aims to combat the health issues associated with “hidden hunger”. Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi have been explored for their potential to enhance Zn and Fe uptake in rice products.

Bài báo khoa học: Micro-morphological, phytochemical and molecular characteristics of aquatic pennywort (Hydrocotyle verticillata) accessions in Vietnam

Hydrocotyle verticillata, known as aquatic pennywort, is commonly found in wetlands. Recently, it is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant in Vietnam. In this work, we characterised a four-accession germplasm of H. verticillata, gathered across Vietnam with a maximal distance of 620 km

Bài báo khoa học: Prevalence, multidrug resistance, and biofilm formation of Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolated from fish mariculture environments in Cat Ba Island, Vietnam

Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a major foodborne pathogen in aquatic animals and a threat to human health worldwide. This study investigated the prevalence, antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs), and biofilm formation of V. parahaemolyticus strains isolated from fish mariculture environments in Cat Ba Island, Vietnam

Bài báo khoa học: Morphological, phytochemical and genetic characterization of Centella asiatica accessions collected throughout Vietnam and Laos

Pennywort (Centella asiatica L.) is commonly grown in the tropical world for its nutritional and medicinal values. Valuable saponins in pennywort are extensively investigated for their anti-tumour activities. The diversity in morphology, phytochemical contents and genetics among pennywort accessions has been extensively studied to identify elite landraces for large-scale production.
