
On October 1st 2026, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) had a meeting with a delegation from Okayama University, Japan; led by Prof. Morihiro Maeda. Also in attendance were professors, researchers, and postgraduate students from universities and institute in Japan. On the side of HUIB, there were Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Van Hue – Deputy Director, staffs and students at the Institute.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged research findings and analysis of antibiotic-resistant microbial communities in several agricultural production models. Besides, the delegates discussed potential cooperation orientation in scientific research, training high-quality human resources, and academic exchange between the two sides.
The meeting took place in an open and constructive atmosphere, contributing to strengthening and expanding the cooperative relationship between HUIB and Japanese universities, aiming towards implementing practical significance research projects and high application in the future.
