In response to the call from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Ministry of Education and Training, and in accordance with Joint Official Dispatch No. 1533/LT-CĐ-ĐHH dated October 6, 2025, issued by Hue University and its Trade Union, with the spirit of “mutual affection and support” and “the good leaves protect the torn ones,” the Director Board of the Institute of Biotechnology and the Executive Committee of the Institute’s Trade Union has organized a fundraising campaign to help people affected by Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi) on October 15, 2025

Within the framework of regional cooperation on science and technology development, a regional conference on evaluating the survey results of the project “Community Watershed-based Agriculture and Fishery Development Project (CWAFD)” was held on October 12th, 2025. The project is implemented through a collaboration between Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University, and the Research Development and Training Center (RDTC) of Savannakhet University, Lao PDR

On October 1st 2026, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) had a meeting with a delegation from Okayama University, Japan; led by Prof. Morihiro Maeda. Also in attendance were professors, researchers, and postgraduate students from universities and institute in Japan. On the side of HUIB, there were Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Van Hue – Deputy Director, staffs and students at the Institute.

On November 29th 2024, Office of Science, Training and International Cooperation and Department of Applied Biology and Biotechnology organized the Council to assess a literature review and 02 thematics for PhD candidate Nguyen Xuan Hieu who was recognized as a PhD candidate in 2021.
