Scientific Council Conducts Ministerial-Level Evaluation and Acceptance of the Research Program No. CT2022.09-DHH

       On November 26, 2025, Hue University convened the Ministerial-level Evaluation and Final Acceptance Council for the management and implementation of the Ministry-level Science and Technology Program entitled “Application of Microbial Technology for the Development of Products to Control Diseases of Major Crops in Central Vietnam” (Program Code: CT2022.09-DHH). The program is led by Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy, with Hue University serving as the host institution and the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University as the implementing unit. 

           At the final acceptance meeting, Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy, on behalf of the research team, presented an overview of the program and summarized its major achievements and outputs. The program successfully accomplished its planned objectives, with notable outcomes including:  

• Scientific outputs: Publication of three SCIE-indexed articles and six Scopus-indexed articles, together with domestic publications and a reference book, fulfilling the planned publication targets.
• Training outcomes: Support for the successful completion of two doctoral dissertations, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources.
• Program reports: Completion of all required reports, including thematic, periodic, statistical, and final reports, as well as the establishment of a specialized database.
• Applied outputs: Development of 17 indigenous microbial strains, together with biological products, technical protocols, application models, a utility solution, and a registered trademark, meeting the program’s technical objectives.

       The Council highly appreciated the scientific quality of the program and its strong potential for practical application. Members also recognized the program’s significant contributions to scientific research, as well as its economic and social impacts, particularly in the prevention and control of diseases affecting major crops in Central Vietnam.

          Based on the evaluation results, the program was rated “Pass.”
