Scientific Council Conducts the Final Evaluation and Acceptance of the Hue University-Level Science and Technology Project (Project Code: DHH2023-15-20)

       The Hue University-level Evaluation and Acceptance Council for the science and technology project entitled “Effects of Silver Nanoparticle Formulations on the Antagonistic Activity against Selected Plant Pathogens Affecting White Lotus Cultivated in Thua Thien Hue Province” (Project Code: DHH2023-15-20) convened at the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University.

      The project was led by M.Sc. Nguyen Quang Hoang Vu, with the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University serving as the host institution. At the final evaluation and acceptance meeting held on January 30, 2026, the principal investigator presented an overview of the research process and the project’s major outcomes. The project resulted in one article published in an SCIE Q2-indexed journal, one article accepted for publication in an SCIE Q3-indexed journal, one article published in a journal recognized by the State Professorship Council for academic evaluation, and one conference proceeding paper. The project also contributed to postgraduate training by supporting one doctoral candidate in successfully completing and defending a doctoral seminar closely related to the project’s research direction.

      The Council members highly appreciated the research achievements and their potential for practical application. They also recognized the project’s significant scientific, economic, and social contributions to scientific research in general and to the prevention and control of diseases affecting white lotus cultivated in Thua Thien Hue Province in particular.

Project evaluation result: Excellent.
