Working with VOS Discovery Co., Ltd.

On July 12, 2024, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) had a meeting with a delegation from VOS Discovery Co., Ltd.

A delegation from VOS Discovery Co., Ltd., including Dr. Jongman Yoo – CEO of Organoid Sciences Vietnam, Ms. Gina Kim – Managing Director of VOS Discovery Co., Ltd., and Mr. Le Hong Son – Business Development Specialist of VOS Discovery Co., Ltd., visited several laboratories, exchanged ideas, and discussed future research directions and collaborations with the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University. VOS Discovery Co., Ltd. is a branch of Organoid Sciences in Vietnam with the mission of developing Vietnam into a center for the production of organoid technology products.

On the side of HUIB, Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy – Vice Director, heads of laboratories, staff, and students studying and working at the Institute participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Hong Son introduced organoid technology and its enormous potential for application in medicine, cancer treatment, and improving drug efficacy. In addition, Dr. Jongman Yoo, CEO, further clarified the company’s strengths and expressed his desire to find partners to jointly develop organoid technology applications. Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy introduced HUIB’s strengths and proposed several directions for future cooperation, starting with the establishment of a professional exchange and discussion group between representatives of the Institute and the company to guide specific and in-depth collaborations.
