Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University organized scientific seminar in June 2020
On June 12th 2020, the scientific seminar on “Effects of mycorrhizal fungi to the uptake phosphorus and zinc in Medicago and gene expression” was held in the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB). The scientific seminar was attended by staffs of HUIB.
At the seminar, MSc. Nguyen Thi Diem introduced about Mycorrhiza and the role of the fungi in plants; the necessity to conduct study on effects of mycorrhizal fungi to the uptake phosphorus and zinc in Medicago truncatula and gene expression. MSc. Diem also presented achieved research results on finding the connection between the role of Mycorrhiza on the absorption of phosphorus, zinc of Medicago truncatula and gene expression of the plant under experimental conditions.
Scientists attended the seminar have exchanged, discussed some issues on methodology of the research and the direction for developing the project.
