Conference on Development of intellectual property, from Research to Products Commercialization
Besides training activities, scientific research is one of the key tasks at universities and research institutes. However, at present, commercialization of research products have not been fully considered, leading to the socio-economic efficiency of the research products is low.
On November 29th, 2019, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB), led by Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai – Director of HUIB attended Conference on “Development of intellectual property, from Research to Products Commercialization” that was organized by Department of Science and Technology of Thua Thien Hue Province, and Hue University at Hue University Hall.
At the Conference, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh – Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue provincial People’s Committee emphasized the importance of technology transfer and research orientation associated with the market. After that, the delegates listened to presentations from experts, speakers; and exchanged opinions, proposed solutions for the commercialization of science and technology products in real-life conditions at universities and research institute under Hue University.
At the end of the Conference, the creative and feasible suggestions from the delegates were considered and acknowledged.
