The scientific seminar in February 2020
On February 28th 2020, the scientific seminar on “Isolation and evaluation the antagonistic activity against Vibrio sp. causing diseases on shrimp and fish by probiotic bacteria” was held in the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB). The scientific seminar was attended by staffs and graduate students of HUIB.
At the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy gave a detailed introduction about Vibrio bacteria, and the necessary to prevent and treat diseases on shrimp and fish caused by harmful Vibrio sp. Especially, Dr. Huy also presented achieved research results on isolation of Vibrio sp. causes disease in aquatic animals, and evaluation the antagonistic activity against Vibrio sp. to produce probiotics for prevention and treatment of diseases on shrimp and fish.
Scientists attended the seminar have exchanged, discussed the direction of producing probiotic bacteria based on the achieved research results, and the application potential in research and production.
