The leadership of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment – Ministry of Education and Training worked with the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University
The meeting was attended by: Mr. Le Trong Hung, Director General; Mr. Tran Nam Tu, deputy director and Mr. Nguyen Khac Thong, expert from Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Ministry of Education and Training.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Hong Hai, Director of the Institute of Biotechnology, made detailed reports on the results of scientific and technological activities of the Institute in the period 2014-2018 and orientation for 2019. Thereby, the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology understood the situation and made strategic contributions to help the Institute develop a framework plan to implement the project of Development of the Institute of Biotechnology, University of Science and Technology. Hue became a national biotechnology center in the Central region approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 523/TTg dated May 14, 2018.
