The Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University organized the scientific seminar
On December 13th 2018, the scientific seminar on “Some results of the study on toxic Cyanobacteria in freshwater bodies in Vietnam” was held in the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB). The scientific seminar was attended by HUIB’s staffs.

At the seminar, Prof. Nguyen Thi Thu Lien presented the results through the report on the “Some results of the study on toxic Cyanobacteria in freshwater bodies in Vietnam” , including:
– Introduction and classification of algae
–Algae toxicity.
–Toxic Cyanobacteria and cyanotoxins
–Recently results of study on toxic Cyanobacteria in freshwater in Vietnam.
Prof. Nguyen Thi Thu Lien reported at the scientific seminar
After listening to the report, the scientists attending the seminar highly appreciated results achieved in the past time of Prof. Nguyen Thi Thu Lien’s research team; this project has significantly practical and highly applicability. Scientists attended the seminar had heated discussions about this topic to clarify the research results as well as discuss with the author about the potential of research development in future.
