Institute of Biotechnology – Hue University worked with the Delegation of the Center for Design, Manufacturing and Testing (SATI-TECH)

With the goal of supporting, promoting and accelerating the completion and transfer, towards commercialization of scientific research results in Vietnam, on the afternoon of September 12, 2018, the Delegation of the Design Center, Manufacturing and Testing (SATI-TECH) under the Department of Applied Technology (SATI), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) had a working session with the Institute of Biotechnology – Hue University.

At the meeting, there were the participation of Mr. Nguyen Truong Phi, Director; Mr. Nguyen Dang Cuong, expert at SATI-TECH Center. On the Institute side, there were the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Hong Hai – Director, and key staff of the Institute. Attending the meeting were Mr. Hoang Phi Long, Director of ST Group Co., Ltd.

Leading the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Truong Phi, the delegation’s representative, introduced the program to support technology completion and put it into application through expert advice to the Board of Directors and all key staff of the Institute of Biotechnology. Thereby, the Delegation also listened to and acknowledged the reports proposing to support the completion and commercialization of some existing scientific research products of the Institute such as: The process of cultivating and processing spirulina algae” and the need for technology transfer from ST Group Co., Ltd. Besides, the delegation also shared some information about the project program in the near future and proposed the Institute of Biotechnology – Hue University to participate.

At the end of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Hong Hai thanked the Delegation for taking the time to work with the Institute and hoped for the support and advice from the Center to promote the completion and transfer towards commercialization of the Institute’s scientific research results in the near future.
