Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University hosts 2020 National Conference on Biotechnology
On November 1st 2019, 2019 National Conference on Biotechnology was organized at Biotechnology Center of Ho Chi Minh City. The Conference welcomed more than 350 participants with over 100 presentations including oral and poster presentations. Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai – Director of Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB), Vice president, Member of Standing Committee of Vietnam Biotechnology Association in period of 2018-2023 attended and spoke at the Conference.

In addition to its professional activities, Executive Committee of Vietnam Biotechnology Association also organized a meeting on tasks and works in near future. Accordingly, HUIB was officially tasked to organize 2020 National Conference on Biotechnology. In order to prepare for organizing the conference, the Institute had submitted a statement and was approved by President of Hue University. Conference is one of various activities to affirm the role and position of HUIB in development plan to be a National Institute on Biotechnology in the Center of Vietnam.

At the 2019 National Conference on Biotechnology, Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai introduced historical and development of the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University. Assoc. Prof. also pledged that HUIB will mobilize all the best resources to organize 2020 National Conference on Biotechnology. The Institute is very pleased to welcome all organizations, businesses and individuals in Biotechnology field at the 2020 Conference.
