Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University developed into a National Center for Biotechnology

The goal is to form a network of institutes, research centers and laboratories on biotechnology to create links and support each other, improve efficiency in biotechnology research, application and development economics and sociality.
The national development orientation is to build and develop three national biotechnology centers in the North, Central and South. By 2025, develop these 3 biotechnology centers to reach the level equivalent to ASEAN region, of which at least 1 center will reach the world level.
This is a great challenge and also an opportunity to develop research capacity for the Biotechnology research team of the Institute of Biotechnology in general and of Hue University in particular. With the attention and investment facilitation of the State, leaders of Thua Thien Hue Province and Hue University, the Institute of Biotechnology will quickly develop human resources, facilities and expand research fields. Research to develop into a National Center for Biotechnology, meeting the goal of developing biotechnology for the socio-economic development of the country.
