Hue University organized admission council in Biology for doctoral student in 2019
Pursuant to the Decision No. 288/QĐ-ĐHH dated March 14, 2019 of President of Hue University on establishment of Graduate Admission Council for the first phase in 2019 of Hue University and the Decision No. 37/QĐ-HĐTSSĐH on addition of the Specialized Sub-committees for admission of Doctoral students of Hue University for the first phase in 2019, on August 27th 2019, the Specialized Sub-committees of Doctoral students admission have conducted interview and evaluation for two candidates, including: MSc. Sonexay Rasphone from Laos and BSc. Nguyen Tran Trung from Vietnam. Both Doctoral candidates enroll in Biology Doctoral Training Program, code: 9420101 at Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University according to Regulation on Doctoral Level Training of President of Hue University.
At the admission council meeting, secretariat announced the evaluation requirements, then the Specialized Sub-committees evaluated each candidate through the candidate’s study result at Bachelor level or Master level, scientific research achievements, professional activities, and letter of recommendation. After that, the candidates presented the main points in research proposal and research plan. The Specialized Sub-committees then questioned and commented for the candidates to support the candidates continue to complete their research proposal. At the end of the meeting, the Sub-committee Council concluded that both candidates have met the requirements of the doctoral admission regulation.
