Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University, signed a memorandum of cooperation with VOS Discovery Co., Ltd.

On December 19, 2024, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of cooperation between the Institute and VOS Discovery Co., Ltd., a branch of Organoid Sciences (South Korea) in Vietnam, with the mission of developing a center for producing products from organoid technology.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Jongman Yoo, CEO of Organoid Sciences, and representatives from departments of Organoid Sciences and VOS Discovery Co., Ltd.; on the Institute’s side were Assoc.Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai, Director, heads of units, and staff working at the Institute.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed issues related to cooperation and participation in research in the field of organoids; at the same time, the heads of the two units signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in this field. Accordingly, the two sides agreed to cooperate on the following contents: (1) Cooperative research in fields of mutual interest, including product development and technological processes; (2) Cooperation in exchanging scientists, experts, delegations, and scientific and technical information.

The heads of both units believed that the cooperation would promote the development of highly applicable and effective scientific and technological products, thereby contributing to socio-economic development.
