On October17th 2019, the scientific seminar on “Probiotics: The biological control agents in aquaculture” was held in the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB). The scientific seminar was attended by staffs and graduate students of HUIB.
At the seminar, MSc. Le My Tieu Ngoc presented general knowledge about probiotic including: definition of probiotic, action mechanisms of probiotic, probiotic sources. Especially, some preliminary research results on the effect of probiotic on shrimp culture at Laboratory of enzyme and protein technology, HUIB were also reported.
Scientists attended the seminar had heated discussions about presented topic as well as discuss with the author about the potential of probiotic development for shrimp culture in the future.
