On November 30th, 2019, on the occasion of 60th anniversary of the establishment of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the delegation of Hue University, led by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh, President of Hue University attended and congratulated the Ministry of Science and Technology at Vietnam National Convention Center, Hanoi. Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai, Director of Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University also attended the delegation.

The anniversary ceremony was begun with the art performance “Reaching to the heights”. After that, Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Science and Technology, delivered a speech to celebrate the anniversary ceremony and highlighted tradition as well as achievements of MOST in national development work.

In the solemn atmosphere of the anniversary ceremony, the Ministry of Science and Technology was honored to receive the First-Class Labor Medal for outstanding achievements in scientific works, national construction and defense.

At the anniversary ceremony, Nguyen Xuan Phuc congratulated the Ministry of Science and Technology’s officials and employees on significant achievements during past 60 years. Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated efforts, creativity and research works of the MOST in various fields such as agriculture, industry, medicine, military, defense, etc., contributing to development for our country. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc also expressed his deep gratitude to outstanding scientists such as Prof. Tran Dai Nghia, teacher Ta Quang Buu, agronomist Luong Dinh Cua, doctor Ton That Tung… The Prime Minister hopes that MOST continues to promote its role and strength in task of promoting industrialization, modernization, and knowledge-based economy development in next time.
