The Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University organized the scientific seminar in September 2019
On September 20th 2019, the scientific seminar on “Algae: potential and challenges” was held in the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB). The scientific seminar was attended by staffs and graduate students of HUIB.
At the seminar, MSc. Le Thi Tuyet Nhan presented the potential of algae application in various fields such as biofuel production, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic, agriculture, functional foods and the challenges of algae research including difficult to cultivate and get biomass recovery.
Scientists attended the seminar had heated discussions about presented topic as well as discuss with the author about the potential of algae development in the future.
