International scientific seminar at the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University
On June 13th 2019, The Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) organized the International scientific seminar. The scientific seminar was attended by staffs of the HUIB as well as students from Hue University and University of Science and Technology, The University of Danang. Specially, the scientific seminar was attended by Prof. Jaime Aníbal from University of Algarve, Portugal.
At the seminar, Prof. Jaime Aníbal presented two main topics: Use of stable isotopes (carbon and nitrogen) as seafood spoilage indicators (specifically for clams) and Assess the potential use of naturally occurring Green Macroalgae as bioremediators for nitrogen rich effluents from a fish aquaculture plant. Scientists and students had heated discussions about these topics.
