Conference of officials and employees in 2019 – 2020
On November 28th, 2019, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) organized conference of officials and employees in 2019 – 2020. Attending the conference, on the side of Hue University, there were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh – President of Hue University, Mr. Le Trong Thuc – Member of Standing Committee of Labor Union of Hue University; on the side of HUIB, there were Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai – Director and all staffs working at the Institute.
On behalf of Director Board, Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai presented performance of the 2018 – 2019 school year. Accordingly, in the last school year, the Institute has continued to promote spirit of solidarity, overcome difficulties to successfully fulfill its tasks and build the Institute more and more strongly. In particularly, facilities were enhanced investment and maintenance; the political situation was stable; management system and organizational structure were completed; the number and quality of teachers and officials have been increasingly improved. Besides, the Institute also has some difficulties that need to be overcome, such as: the facilities have been noticed, but it has not promptly met development needs of the unit and society; most officials and employees are young leading to limit management experience as well as in other fields. The Director of HUIB also proposed a number of key tasks of the 2019 – 2020 school year. Of those, the Institute will focus on promoting the effective implementation of PhD training, scientific and technological work, international cooperation programs and projects as well as perfecting the management work. The material and spiritual life of staffs will be paid more attention, etc.,

The conference approved the summary report on emulation and commendation of 2018 – 2019 and expected emulation movement of 2019 – 2020; financial report of 2018 – 2019 and expected financial work of 2019 – 2020; summary report on people’s inspection activities of 2018 – 2019 and directions and tasks of 2019 – 2020.
At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh acknowledged and appreciated efforts and solidarity as well as outstanding achievements in training and quality of the Institute staffs in the past school year. At the same time, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh also pointed out limitations and difficulties that need to be solved, oriented to develop the HUIB in the future. Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh also encouraged all Institute staffs need to enhanced the solidarity and autonomy.

The delegates actively discussed and proposed solutions on HUIB’s development. The Presidium acknowledged the opinions and had clear answers to difficulties and concerns of all officials, employees.

Also in the conference, the delegates unanimously elected the People’s Inspection Board of the term 2019 – 2021; the signing ceremony of the emulation contract between the Director and the Labor Union took place solemnly and respectfully.

The conference of officials and employees in 2019 – 2020 took place successfully. The attended delegates agreed with proposed targets, determined to fulfill the tasks of 2019 – 2020 school year.
