Cau Hai Lagoon field trip by research team of Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University
On January 16th 2019, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) has organized field trips to Cau Hai lagoon, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province. This is an activity involved in the Ministry’s science and technology program of “Applied biotechnology on production probiotics for prevention and treatment diseases on shrimp and fish in Thua Thien Hue province”. This program is headed by Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai, Director of HUIB and Hue University is the host institution.
The purpose of this field trip is to investigate the situation of disease infection and survey the actual situation of fish cage culture in Cau Hai Lagoon.
The field trip provides valuable information and data for the research team to successfully complete the projects under the ongoing program.
