Assoc.Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai, Director of the Institute of Biotechnology – Hue University was elected to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Biological Sciences, term 6, term 2018-2023

With the agreement of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Central Council of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, on August 8, 2018 the Vietnam Association of Biological Sciences solemnly held the National Congress of the National Association of the Associations of Science and Technology. The 6th Vietnamese biology major at the Wei Nhu Kon Tum Hall, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Congress was attended by 120 delegates, including 80 official delegates and 40 guest delegates representing 4,500 members from 26 member units nationwide.

To manage the Association’s activities during the sixth term, the Congress elected the Association’s Executive Committee for the 2018-2023 term with 48 members, Prof. Le Tran Binh was elected to be the President of the Association. With the trust of the delegates attending the Congress, Assoc.Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai, Director of the Institute of Biotechnology – Hue University was also honored to become a member of the Executive Committee of the 6th term of the Association, term 2018- 2023.
