On July 3rd<\/sup> 2020, Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) organized the Scientific Committee to evaluate the Hue University research project \u201cResearch on in vitro<\/em> propagation of Adenosma indianum <\/em>(Lour). Merr\u201d, code: DHH2018-15-10 was headed by Dr. Hoang Tan Quang, HUIB was the implementation institution.<\/p>\n

At the meeting, on behalf of the research team, MSc. Pham Thi Diem Thi presented of the process, and key results of the project, such as: samples of natural plants can be disinfected with 0.1% HgCl\u00ad2<\/sub> in 6 minutes, the infection rate is in the range of 0-24.97% depending on the type of samples. Shoot regeneration from stem explant achieved on MS basal medium supplemented with 0.5 mg\/L BAP after 4 weeks of culture, 46.7% of samples regenerating shoots with an average value of 1.8 shoots per sample; the MS medium containing 0.30 mg\/L NAA was suitable for callus induction from leaves and containing 0.50 mg\/L BAP and 0.10 mg\/L NAA had a highest ability to produce buds from callus, with a ratio of 43.52%, and 3.43 shoots\/callus. The multiplication coefficient was greatest on MS medium consist of 0.5 mg\/L BAP and 0.3 mg\/L IBA, average number of shoots per explant was 10.03 after 6 weeks of culture. The MS medium supplemented with 0.25 mg\/L NAA was optimal for rooting (average value of 14.8 roots per shoot). The plantlets were acclimatized and transplanted successfully in the coconut coir pots, the plantlet survival rate was 91.67%, the number of roots\/plantlet reaches 9.56 roots and the length of roots reaches 2.78 cm after 1 month of cultivation. The research team published 01 international article (Scopus), 01 domestic article; supported to train 01 Master student in Experimental Biology and 01 Engineer in Agronomy; the number of in<\/em> vitro <\/em>plantlets (> 50 samples), the number of in vitro<\/em> original plantlets (50 trees).<\/p>\n

Members of the scientific evaluation council highly appreciated the results of project and commented on some modification (form errors, scientific terms\u2026) and correction on the contents of final report.<\/p>\n

Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy \u2013 Chairmain of the Scientific Committee agreed with the comments and assessments of the reviewers and members of the Scientific Committee, and suggested that the research team should correct the report.<\/p>\n
