Belong to the deployment of cooperation between Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB) and Technical School of Agriculture and Rural Development (TSARD), Quang Tri Province, on May 3rd<\/sup> 2020, the delegation of HUIB, led by Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai – Director of the Institute had a meeting with the Board of Directors and lecturers of TSARD.<\/p>\n

At the meeting, MSc. Le Thien Vinh – Principal of TSARD informed the issues to be discussed, including research projects and survey the actual situation of the TSARD’s facilities. After that, both sides exchanged and oriented the contents related to cooperation on building a model of Dendrobium anosmum<\/em>, visiting tissue culture laboratories and having a field trip around the campus of TSARD. During the visit, the delegation of HUIB gave methods to improve suitable facilities in service of building a model of Dendrobium anosmum<\/em>. Besides, the delegation also visited breeding farms, aquaculture lakes, biogas tank, and vegetable field. At each location, the Institute’s delegation considered and outlined feasible development directions as well as sustainable development cooperation directions for the both sides.<\/p>\n

At the end of meeting, the two sides reached an agreement to carry out the first step of building a model for conservation and commercialization of Dendrobium anosmum<\/em> at Technical School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Quang Tri Province. In addition, the representatives of HUIB and TSARD hope that the both sides will continue to discuss and cooperate in developing agro-forestry-fishery models in the future.<\/p>\n
