On June 5th<\/sup>\u00a02020, the representative of Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University (HUIB), Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy \u2013 Deputy Director, attended on \u201cPromotion of science and technology application in period of 2020-2025 at A Luoi District, Thua Thien Hue Province\u201d conference at hall of People\u2019s Committee of A Luoi District, Thua Thien Hue Province.<\/p>\n

At the conference, Dr. Ho Thang, Deputy Director in charge of Thua Thien Hue Department of Science and Technology mentioned importance of science and technology in society life, and emphasized role of promotion of advanced science and technology application for development at A Luoi District. Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of A Luoi District People\u2019s Committee, sent a thankful to the attending delegates, and wished that the conference would be a forum for scientists, experts and consultants sharing experience as well as determining appropriate directions in promotion of science and technology application in period of 2020-2025 at A Luoi District.<\/p>\n

Report on \u201cScience and technology application activities in recent years and the plan of science and technology application in period of 2020-2025 at A Luoi District\u201d, \u201cA plan to build models of management, production, development in A Luoi beef brand, and certification mark for \u201cA Luoi tourism\u201d\u201d was presented by the representatives of Center for Information and Application of Advanced Scientific Technology of Thua Thien Hue. Agricultural Service Center and Agriculture and Rural Development Committee Division of A Luoi District shared about \u201cThe effectiveness from models of\u00a0Acipenser<\/em>\u00a0culture, banana planting, and flowers from cold places\u201d. At the conference, Dr. Nguyen Duc Huy introduced and proposed science and technology solutions of HUIB can support A Luoi District in implementing science and technology tasks in period of 2020-2025, such as: Antler-type\u00a0Ganoderma lucidum<\/em>\u00a0and medicinal plant models that are suitable to natural condition of the District. Especially, acclimatization model of\u00a0Panax vietnamensis<\/em>\u00a0Ha et Grushv for the local condition was received deep attention from the Board of Director of A Luoi District and Thua Thien Hue Department of Science and Technology. This is one of the recent scientific achievements of Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai, Director of Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University. The parties also agreed that the in-depth meetings for each topic would be held to accelerate transfer of advanced scientific application in near future.<\/p>\n

The conference is an important step to promote the effective application of science and technology in A Luoi District.<\/p>\n
