As a key activity of the Forum \u201cStart-up in agriculture at Quang Nam Province \u2013 Opportunities and Challenges\u201d at Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province, on October 22nd<\/sup>, 2019, Hue University and People\u2019s Committee of Quang Nam Province signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on building an entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem in the period of 2020-2025. Mr. Le Tri Thanh \u2013 Vice Chairman of the People\u2019s Committee of Quang Nam Province and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh \u2013 President of Hue University represented between the two sides.<\/p>\n

Mr. Le Tri Thanh \u2013 Vice Chairman of the People\u2019s Committee of Quang Nam Province and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh \u2013 President of Hue University, signed the MOU<\/em><\/p>\n

The delegation of Institute of Biotechnology (HUIB), Hue University, led by Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Hong Hai that was one of three units of Hue University involved the signing agreement. Accordingly, the People\u2019s Committee of Quang Nam Province and Hue University agreed to build and develop start-up projects on products from the results of scientific and technological research. Numerous strategies of HUIB were prioritized in the cooperation program such as: probiotics in prevention and treatment diseases on plants and animals; genetic resource conservation, medicinal plants development; creation high quality plant varieties and other applied technological processes.<\/p>\n

After the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Tri Thanh and the delegation visited the products of the Institute of Biotechnology. Mr. Le Tri Thanh highly appreciated these products and hoped that there would be a cooperation between the Institute as well as Hue University and Quang Nam Province in near future.<\/p>\n
