On December 11, the Institute of Biotechnology – Hue University held a biotechnology seminar with the theme “Connecting research and application transfer”. The conference attracted a large number of researchers, businesses, graduate students and graduate students in the field of biotechnology to attend and report.<\/b><\/div>\n

Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh, Vice President of Hue University attended the opening session and delivered a speech to direct the workshop. Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thi Thu Lien, Deputy Director of Institute of Biotechnology delivered the opening speech of the workshop.<\/p>\n

The reports at the conference delved into the research directions and applications of biotechnology achievements of scientists at Hue University.<\/p>\n

At the plenary session, the reports presented the successful research directions of the authors, including: “Production of pharmaceutical compounds by plant cell culture and transgenic plants” by Prof. Nguyen Hoang Loc, Department of Biotechnology, University of Science and Technology; \u201cResearch on production of kit for rapid detection of adhesion antigens of Escherichia coli<\/em> bacteria\u201d by Assoc.Prof. Dinh Thi Bich Lan, Institute of Biotechnology, University of Science and Technology; \u201cApplication of nanotechnology in cancer diagnosis and treatment\u201d by Assoc.Prof. Tran Huu Dung, University of Medicine and Pharmacy University; \u201cPseudomonas putida<\/em> biological product: from research to application and to the market\u201d by Assoc.Prof. Tran Thi Thu Ha, University of Science and Technology; and “Total Solution for Laboratory of Molecular Biology” by Nguyen Quynh Anh, Vietnam Applied Technology Development Co., Ltd, Hanoi.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, there were 15 reports presented at the subcommittees: Gene Technology, Cell Technology, Agricultural Biotechnology and Medicine. The content of the reports delves into the research directions and applications of Biotechnology in agriculture, medicine and serving socio-economic needs.
\nThe conference is an opportunity for researchers and businesses inside and outside Hue University to have the opportunity to explore, learn, cooperate, transfer and find ways to bring research products to the market. The conference is a valuable academic session for PhD students, graduate students and students.
