Within the framework of cooperation programs between the Institute of Biotechnology, Hue University and Quang Tri Intermediate School of Agriculture and Rural Development, in recent years, the Institute has implemented a short-term training course on tissue culture and plant cells for the staff of the Faculty of Horticulture and Forestry of the school.<\/b><\/p>\n

The course was conducted over a period of 6 months (from April to September 2017) with the content focusing on in vitro<\/em> propagation techniques of forestry plants such as acacia hybrid, wild orchids… Through the course, the lecturers of the school will understand the principles and techniques of in vitro<\/em> plant propagation, how to organize the laboratory and how to operate the equipment in the process. In addition, the lecturers participating in the course will directly participate in the construction of the breeding process on the school’s oriented objects.<\/p>\n

At the end of the course, trainees who are lecturers can participate in teaching this subject at the school and at the same time conduct research and in vitro<\/em> seedling production to supply the market in Quang Tri in particular and the Central region in particular.\u00a0<\/p>\n
