III. <\/span><\/strong>FUNCTION AND MISSION STATEMENTS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.1. Function<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Laboratory of Mircrobiology and Fermentation Technology\u00a0<\/strong>has function to implement of research projects, cooperating under graduated and post-graduated training, consults and transfers in related to Microbiology and Fermentation Technology fields.<\/p>\n

3.2. Mission<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Implementing of projects of basic and applied research in the field Microbiology and Fermentation Technology.<\/li>\n
  • Cooperating in under and post graduated education training in Microbiology and Fermentation Technology fields with University members of Hue University.<\/li>\n
  • Transferring of scientific technologies in Microbiology and Fermentation Technology fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


    \nIV. <\/span><\/strong>RESEARCH ORIENTATIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Isolating and identifying of high value microorganisms for using in agriculture, food industry, environmental treatment and medicine.<\/li>\n
    • Selecting of highly active microorganisms for applying in environmental pollutant and aquaculture treatment, food processing.<\/li>\n
    • Studying and applying of probiotic and prebiotic bacteria in complementation food for animal and aquatic culture.<\/li>\n
    • Producing of bioproducts for disease resistance of plant and animal.<\/li>\n
    • Developing and optimizing of fermentation processing for producing value materials form microorganisms.<\/li>\n
    • Isolating and selecting of enzyme, antibiotic producing microbial strains and developing of fermentation process for producing industrial enzyme, antibiotic from microorganisms using in food industry and medicine.<\/li>\n
    • Improving and optimizing of traditional fermentation techniques and producing of traditional fermentation products.<\/li>\n
    • Fermenting of new food products from available agricultural products favorite with current testes.<\/li>\n
    • Applying of new materials in immobilization of value microorganisms and enzyme in metabolism to produce new active products using in medicine, agriculture, industry and environmental protection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Isolating and selecting of Streptomyces <\/em>sp. for control of Phytophtora capsici<\/em> caused quick wilt disease in black pepper.<\/li>\n
      • Sustainable replanting of black pepper on effected disease soil by integrated techniques in Gia Lai province.<\/li>\n
      • Research and evaluate the current situation and changes of soil and water quality around areas of Nhan Co and Tan Rai bauxite mining project.<\/li>\n
      • Antibody production for prevention and treatment\u00a0Vibrio\u00a0<\/em>sp. causing ulcer diseases on fishes, code:\u00a0 CT-2018-DHH-05.<\/li>\n
      • Molecular cloning of glycoprotein C and E gene from Duck, code: DHH2017-15-17.<\/li>\n
      • Study on manufacturing antibodies to prevent and treat ulcers caused by Vibrio<\/em> sp. induced in fish, code: CT-2018DHH-05.<\/li>\n
